Having moved to FL in 1985 from Mass, I was amazed at all the coetptieivmness Gators vs Noles .this is too darn funny! I needed a good laugh today, and this started my morning off on the right note!I am sure this will spur others to create mascots or logos!
The Kent Autistic Trust (KAT) helps families aecffted by Autism across the whole of Kent with more than just coffee mornings’ They hold regular support meetings across the county provide help/advice on anything and everything from general queiries to legal issues, including; supporting families with education issues/appeals, attending meetings with members, being an advocate/mediator, filling out forms/documents, providing up to date information and training courses etc etc to having an email group so as to keep everyone connected and informed on local events, other support groups, respite/day trips and to allow us to help each other with any problems/issues through our own personal experience and this is just the tip of the iceburge! The help/support they provide extends way beyond any other support group’ we know of.With just two main support workers, one for adults and one for families (both very dedicated and overworked), and a small group of volunteers, the KAT really needs our help to keep their invaluable support work going. We nearly lost them a few years ago due to funding issues, so the more help they can get now, will hopefully secure their future for a while longer.
